Coaching versus Therapy: If you are struggling with minor issues that do not meet criteria for a psychological disorder, then coaching may be a good option for you. Coaching is not a therapeutic service and works from a different model. Dr. Berry cannot provide coaching to past, current, or future outpatient therapy clients due to ethical boundaries.
Coaches help to guide people that are struggling with an area (or areas) of their lives. They support goal-setting, personal growth, and behavioral change in their clients. They use their experience and expertise to help the client work towards their identified goal.
